Voltra Online: Reaping Ritual 2019 Event

During the event, the site unveiled a new theme to surprise users. This was the front page graphic that greeted them, I really leaned into the classic Halloween aesthetic, hoping to capture a dark but very fun and nostalgic energy.

Here is a mockup of what the site's theme looked like. I wanted a dark theme that had more pops of colour to help differentiate it from the rest and to capture the Halloween spirit.

An example of the logo I created for this event, it was incorporated all over the site in a variety of ways.

I created several graphics durign this event, the following are a few examples. They meant to illustrate a silly mystery plot that the users were able to participate in solving.

Continued illustrations, they users would help a main NPC Vontell question various other NPCs around the city. All had to have costumes designed unique for this experience.

Each illustration was meant to really capture the energy and personality of each of the characters, to better convey this to the users and help them gain and understanding and bond with our site's lore.

The images were not only exclusive to the event's activities, but were also added Voltra's Jigsaw Puzzle game, to allow users to enjoy them even after the event ended.
